This was the only solution that worked for me. I tried all of the other ones in this feed. My printer was stuck on the recycle your ink cartridge notification after replacing spent cartridges (with genuine HP ones). Thank you.

Hi I had the same problem after 2 days of playing around I was finally able to get hp support that alone is a challenge.  Go to your printer app on your Pc click printer settings than click options than click ok.  That seems to reset that issue.  So far so good. Good luck. That’s all I know

I experienced a similar prompt from my HP9015 regarding not being able to clear a message regarding replacing an ink cartridge.  Once I opened the paper drawer and received the prompt to close it then the printer launched another message to select OK regarding the size of paper to select.  Once I accepted that prompt then the message that referenced the changing of the cartridge disappeared.

I have had the same problem today and I am extremely busy with jobs.  I even changed out the ink cartridges even though they weren't empty.  I wish I had never signed up for instant ink.

Looks like this problem showed up after firmware update to MANHTNPP1N002.2135A.00 which was released in Sept. I got the problem in Nov, but I see multiple posts for it. Everyone should reply and click the "I have the same question" button to make sure HP is aware of the issue and fixes it with the next firmware.
