Here is the solution for Blue screen error 83C0000B on HP OfficeJet Pro 8010e, 9020e Printer Series: Click here to view.

I canceled my Instant Ink subscription then when I tried to put the cartridges back and restart the subscription everything fell apart. First the cartridges gave me an error so I reset the printer completely. After starting it up, it asked for me to put the original cartridges that came with the printer in for setup. After selecting 'Continue' for the printer head alignment all the buttons light up and blink, the screen goes to a blue color with the code B815661C on screen. Powering off doesn't work so I unplugged and go through it again only with the same result (error code B815661C).

@kristy15, Welcome to the HP Support Community!

Are you not able to bypass this error to access the home screen of the printer?

Reset the printer

  1. With the printer turned on, disconnect the power cord from the rear of the printer.
  2. Wait at least 60 seconds.
  3. Reconnect the power cord to the rear of the printer.
  4. Turn ON the printer, if it does not automatically turn on.
  5. Wait until the printer is idle and silent before you proceed.

Note: HP recommends connecting the printer directly to a wall outlet rather than a surge protector or a power strip.

If this does not help, unplug the power cable and hold the power button down for 10-15 seconds and release it. Power on the printer and check.

We can try to factory reset the printer only if the printer is not stuck at this error.

I have sent you a private message with a set of instructions to perform a reset. Kindly check the same, this might help you to resolve this issue. Check next to your profile name, you should see a little blue envelope, please click on it.

Hope this helps! Keep me posted.

Been chatting with an HP rep who hasn't solved my problem at all. Don't buy this printer. It's crap. I bought it a year ago and it's just crapped out. 'Smart' technology just creates issues. Can't simply print some documents bc of the invasiveness of HP needing to be connected to my private printer for it to function.

Not helpful. I hate this printer.

That's unfortunate. Please reach out to the HP Technical Support team in your region regarding the service/replacement options for your printer.

You may create a case on the website to obtain a case number if required. Kindly watch this video to know how.

Keep me posted for any other assistance.

I am experiencing the exact same thing.  Did you ever get a solution?
