Microsoft Windows 11

After installing a new HP print cartridge in my HP Officejet 8702, I got the error message that one or more of my cartridges were missing or damaged. I reinstalled the cartridge but received same message. Then, I ordered another cartridge in case the first new HP cartridge was damaged in some way. Installed the newer HP cartridge with the same result. Tried Virtual Assistant with no luck. Tried resetting printer by unplugging and restarting - again no luck. I only use HP cartridges - no off-brands. I've got 5 brand new HP ink cartridges waiting for this printer and would rather not buy another printer. Your recommendations would be appreciated. Thank you.

I see that you are facing an issue with your Printer.

 

Kindly refer to the steps 'All other ink cartridge errors' from this link and let me know if that fixes the issue.

 

Also, update the printer firmware by clicking on this link.
