Hi @jvjnpc,
Welcome to HP Support Community.
Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.
If your HP Officejet 2620 is showing a paper jam error but you cannot find any jammed paper, and you’re receiving an error code 0X805D0700 FM_KEYWORDS_MO, there are several troubleshooting steps you can try to resolve the issue. This code indicates a problem with the printer’s internal mechanisms or sensors.
**1. Check for Paper Jam Thoroughly
- Open the main paper tray and check for any paper stuck inside.
- Open the access door where the cartridges are located and check for any paper or debris.
- Remove the ink cartridges and inspect the area for any paper fragments.
- Reinsert the cartridges carefully.
- Inspect the paper feed rollers and ensure there is no paper stuck in the path. Sometimes, paper pieces can be stuck in hard-to-see areas.
- Remove the output tray and look inside the printer for any paper fragments or obstructions.
**2. Reset the Printer
- Turn off the printer and unplug it from the power source.
- Wait for about 60 seconds.
- Plug the printer back in and turn it on.
- Turn off the printer.
- Unplug the power cord from the back of the printer.
- Wait for 60 seconds.
- Plug the power cord back in and turn on the printer.
**3. Clean the Paper Feed Rollers
- Remove any paper from the tray.
- Locate the paper feed rollers inside the printer. These are usually located near the paper tray.
- Clean the rollers with a lint-free cloth slightly dampened with water. Rotate the rollers manually while cleaning.
- Allow the rollers to dry completely before reassembling the printer.
**4. Check Printer Firmware:
- Visit the HP Support website and check for any firmware updates for the HP Officejet 2620.
- Follow the instructions to download and install the latest firmware if an update is available.
**5. Inspect and Reset Paper Settings
- Ensure that the paper size and type settings in the printer’s control panel or software match the paper you are using.
- In the printer’s menu, navigate to paper settings and reset them to default.
**6. Verify Internal Sensors
- Sometimes, internal sensors can become misaligned or dirty, leading to false paper jam errors.
- Use a flashlight to inspect the sensors and clean them gently with a soft, dry cloth.
I hope this helps.
Take care and have a good day.
