Using HP Officejet Pro 8600 Plus printer and it was working just find and went to print another document and the Error: Pick Motor Stalled appeared on the screen and we have attempting to reset, clean the rollers, etc. and nothing is working to get it back on line.
Any ideas, for it will not copy nor print from the computer (of which the printer is wired directly to the computer, ie. it is not connected via a wireless connection, besides it will not make copies of documents which does not even involving our computers.
Please advise as to ideas or is this printer "finished" and time to buy new?
Thank you for your assistance,
Daran

Welcome to the HP Support Community.
Let's try to reset the Printer here:
Reset the product
- With the printer turned on, disconnect the power cord from the rear of the printer.
- Unplug the power cord from the wall outlet.
- Wait at least 60 seconds.
- Plug the power cord back into the wall outlet.
- Reconnect the power cord to the printer.
- Turn the printer on. HP recommends plugging the printer directly into a wall outlet.
Also, try connecting the Printer to a different wall outlet directly.
Also, try a firmware update: https://support.hp.com/in-en/document/c02919168
