My HP Officejet 4620 stopped copying from the flatbed and the document feeder.
If does print from the computer and from a scanned document.
No changes were made before the printer just stopped copying. There is plenty of ink in all the color and Black cartridges.
A blank page comes out when I try to copy in Black only. A few lines show up when I try copying in Color mode.
This printer is 3 & 3/4 years old. Can I fix this problem?
Please advise. Thank you.

Hi @TrishaS,
Thank you for visiting the HP Forums! A great place where you can find solutions for your issues with help from the community! I came across your post and wanted to assist you. I understand you are having issues making a copy from the printer. Don't worry we'll work together to find a solution for you.
To provide you with an accurate solution, I'll need a few more details:
Does that Scanner bulb light up?
Does the scanner bar move when you open the lid & press the copy button?
Have you checked if the unit can make a standalone copy? If ‘YES’ then it means the scan hardware of the All-in-One works fine.
In the meantime, let's try these steps here:
Perform a Hard reset on the printer and make sure that the printer is connected directly to the wall outlet and not to the surge protector.
With the printer turned on, disconnect the power cord from the rear of the printer and also unplug the power cord from the wall outlet.
Remove USB cable, if present.
Wait for 2-3 minutes, press and hold the power button on your printer for about 30 seconds to remove any additional charge.
Now plug back the power cable straight to a wall outlet without any surge protector or an extension cord and then plug back the power cord to the printer.
Turn on the printer and wait till warm-up period finishes and the printer is idle.
Next thing, I would suggest here is to clean the scanner glass and underside of the scanner lid as well as the plastic strip and glass strip inside the document feeder with a soft, lint-free cloth.
You could also clean the ADF rollers and check if that helps. For more assistance, please follow all the steps suggested in this support document for - HP Printers - Fixing Copy Quality Issues
Try to make a stand alone copy from the printer and check for results. If the copy fails, I would personally suggest this could be a printer hardware. I would recommend you contact our HP phone support for available service related options.
