Hi,

Thanks for using the HP Forums.

Can you try using a TCP/IP port?

Create a TCP IP port

1. Print a Configuration Page to get the printer's IPv4 address (you can also tap on the wireless icon on the Front panel of your Printer to get the IP address)
2. On your PC, go to Control Panel, from Devices and Printers, right click the printer and left click Printer Properties, select the Ports tab.
3. Click Add Port, select Standard TCP/IP Port, then select New Port and follow the wizard.
4. Type in the proper IP address for the printer.

This video resource will show you how to do it:

Create & Use TCP IP port

Note that you can ALWAYS revert back to the original port that the HP software installed by selecting the HP port under the Ports tab (in Printer Properties)

Let us know if that works

FAX HP Officejet 4630 series(network)

Microsoft print to PDF

Microsoft XPS Document writer

Deleted  printers in  HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\WindowsNT\CurrentVersion\Print\Printers, but the four printers are still there.

Hi,

Can you try this:

Go to Control Panel, under ‘Program and Features’, look for the HP SW and click uninstall.

To remove print drivers, you can go to ‘Devices and Printers’, look for the printer that is installed.

Right-click on the printer icon, and select ‘Remove device’.  This step should remove the printer.

To ensure that the print driver is indeed uninstalled, on the same screen, click on any other printer icon, and select ‘Print server properties’.

Go to ‘Drivers’ tab, and see if you find the printer model name. If it exists, select it, and click ‘Remove’.

This should remove the print driver.

After that, reinstall the FULL feature software.

Hope that helps!

Was initially stuck setting up my HP-Officejet printer wirelessly. I tried on several occasions to connect wirelessly at first but everytime I did I kept on getting an offline error. I followed the steps outlined with regards to setting up a a TCP port, entered my printes name at first that didn't work, then I proceeded to print a configuration page and made note of my printers IP then I was able to proceed after I'd entered that. Followed the steps through the set-up wizard  afterward & 'VOILA' success at last. Thanks.

the problem has not been solved.I stopped tries to solve.Sometimes it connects to modem-roter, sometimes not.

The only workaround is to switch off and on the router. When it's offline the  IP is 169.254.235.159.

Hi @tmmsgrll

IP is 169.254.235.159.  is not a valid IP address.

When the  printer is connected, can you try this:

Creating a Static IP address using EWS

Hope that helps!
