Welcome to HP Forums,

Let's get straight to it!

 

It's similar to the old phones, you'll need to tap on the same key several times, 1 = ABC, similarly, if you want a '3', when you press the '3' on the front panel of the printer the first character is a lower case "d'; you would press the 3 until the 3 is highlighted (your options should be 'd', 'e', 'f', 'D', 'E', 'F' or '3').
