I purchased a new wireless printer a couple of months ago. It has been working fine wirelessly up until today. Now it will no longer connect to the network. I tried rebooting my computer, rebooting my printer, reinstalling drivers, updating drivers, rebooting my modem and going through every diagnostic I could find on HPs support site. Finally I contacted HP via online chat and went through everything I had already tried again. Finally they took control of my computer and ran many more diagnostics to try and resolve the issue. After over 2 hours all they could tell me to do was to connect via USB cable and use it that way. I did print out the printer's wireless network test results. Everything passed or was good, except for one area: No filtering was a fail. Does anyone have any idea as to why all of a sudden I can no longer connect to my printer wirelessly? All of the other devices in my home have no problem connecting to my network at all. And my iPad cannot connect to the printer, either.

@djsuch,

Welcome to the HP Support Community!

Is your router configured to 2.4 or 5GHz frequency?

Meanwhile, I recommend you reset the networking settings on the printer and then reconfigure the printer.

Here is how you can reset the network settings.

1. From the Home screen, touch (Wireless) and then touch ( Settings ).

2. Touch Restore Network Settings, and then follow the onscreen instructions.

3. Print the network configuration page and verify that the network settings have been reset.

NOTE: When you reset the printer network settings, previously configured wireless settings (such as the link speed or IP address) are removed. The IP address is set back to the Automatic mode.

If you continue facing the issue, I recommend you follow the below steps.

Please download and run the HP Print And Scan Doctor from this Link: https://ftp.hp.com/pub/printers/hppsdr/HPPSdr.exe

Run PSDR v5.0.2

Once the PSDR detects the Printer, it will show up the IP address and Software Status.

Select the correct Printer and click on Next.

PSDR will check if the Printer is on the Network and communication between the PC and the Printer. Once the connection check is done, click on Fix Printing

Once PSDR goes through all checks and automatic fixes, click on Print a test page.

Regardless if PSDR printed the test page or not, click on “NO PRINT”

PSDR will then notify you that there is an update available, click on continue, and PSDR will apply the patch and ask for a reboot.

Post restart the PSDR will run automatically to check for more issue.  If no issue found close PSDR.

Also, try using the HP Smart App and let me know if that helps. Link: https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/p/hp-smart/9wzdncrfhwlh

Let me know how it goes and you have a great day!

Cheers!
