HP Officejet 6600 e-All-in-One Printer - H711a/H711g

I have replaced all print cartridges, so each one is full. My printer will not print, and this is the code I receive: 0x61011bed

Any ideas? Please and thank you.

@michannemag, Hello and welcome to the HP Support Community!

Thanks for posting your question. I'm here to help you get things back on track.

The error code 0x61011bed typically indicates a carriage jam or mechanical failure related to the ink system or printhead movement. Let’s walk through some steps to help resolve this:

Power Reset the Printer

  • Turn off the printer using the power button.
  • Disconnect the power cord from the back of the printer and from the wall outlet.
  • Wait for 60 seconds.
  • Reconnect the power cord directly to a wall outlet (avoid surge protectors).
  • Turn the printer back on.

This clears temporary errors and resets the printer hardware.

Check for Paper or Obstructions

  • Open the ink cartridge access door.
  • Look inside for any paper debris, foreign objects, or loose ink cartridges.
  • Gently move the carriage (printhead) left and right to ensure it moves freely.
  • Close the door and try printing again.

Reinstall Ink Cartridges

  • Remove all cartridges and inspect them for damage or leaks.
  • Reinstall them one by one, ensuring each clicks into place.
  • Make sure you're using genuine HP cartridges.

Update Firmware (if accessible)

  • If the printer connects to Wi-Fi and the display is functional, check for firmware updates via the printer's control panel.
  • Alternatively, visit the HP Officejet 6600 support page to download the latest firmware and drivers.
