Hi, My HP6950 printer is suddenly not printing black text. All other colours print fine, Have gone through all the cleaning routines, and used various new black cartridges, all which say full and ready to  print. Have updated all firmware and drivers. Can anyone help ?  Am I able to take out print head mechanism to clean it, if so how do I do that  ?  Cannot see any obvious clips etc to remove the printheads mechanism.

Hi @Brian408,

Welcome to the HP Support Community.

I'd be glad to help you!

I understand that you are having issues with printing in black.

I appreciate your efforts in trying to resolve this issue by performing the necessary troubleshooting steps.

If you have performed all the steps from this document and still having issues, either the cartridges are faulty or the printer itself is.

Keep me posted for further assistance
