HP Officejet 6968 3rd Party Ink Lockout never solved

Product: HP OfficeJet Pro 6968
I am unable to use 3rd party ink on the HP OfficeJet 6968  - I read that HP has instituted this policy to coerce customers to use HP cartridges only.


Even though HP quality may be best, my needs are simple and I want to be free to use whichever cartridges I choose. I would not have purchased this printer otherwise.

Hi, the document is clear but it describes a practice that is wholly unacceptable.

 

Had this practice been made clear, I would not have purchased this printer.

 

Just about everyone feels the same way: already HP had to settle a class action lawsuit just a couple of years ago on the very same issue. And now HP is at it again!

 

This was our first purchase of a HP product -  and this overreach ensures that it will be the last. 

 

Please pass this comment on to the managers that make these decisions so they become aware of the ill will that these policies create.
