Suddenly my faithful printer stopped working when I installed new print cartridges. I have four flashing lights...

The wifi

The warning !

The Yellow cartridge light

The power button.

I have tried replacing the new cartridges with another set, but nothing changes.

Please, Please help.

@Yorkieone, Welcome to the HP Support Community – it’s great to have you here!

I appreciate you taking the time to share your question. I'm more than happy to assist with this and provide a solution that works for you.

The flashing lights you're seeing Wi-Fi, Warning (!), Yellow cartridge, and Power button, typically indicate a cartridge recognition or printer initialization error. Let's walk through some steps to resolve this:

Power Reset the Printer

  • Turn off the printer.
  • Unplug the power cord from the printer and wall outlet.
  • Wait for 60 seconds.
  • Plug the printer back in and turn it on.

Check Cartridges

  • Remove all cartridges.
  • Inspect for:
    • Protective tape still on the cartridge contacts.
    • Damaged or leaking cartridges.
    • Dirty copper contacts (clean gently with a lint-free cloth).
  • Reinstall cartridges one by one, starting with the black, then cyan, magenta, and yellow.

Use Genuine HP Cartridges

Check for Firmware Updates

  • Visit the HP Support page
  • Download and install the latest firmware and drivers.

Review Light Pattern Diagnosis

HP has a detailed guide for interpreting blinking lights on this printer. You can find it here: Blinking Lights on the HP Officejet 7110 Wide Format ePrinter Series | HP® Support

Try HP's Diagnose & Fix Tool

If you're using Windows or macOS, you can run HP's built-in tool: Use Diagnose & Fix in the HP app to repair common printing issues (Windows, macOS) | HP® Support

I hope your issue is now resolved. If not, feel free to reply and we’ll continue helping until everything’s sorted!
