Product: HP Officejet Pro 6830 e-All-in-One Printer
Operating System: Mac OS X 10.11 El Capitan

 My HP Officejet Pro 6830 e-All-in-One Printer developed a well known common fault earlier this year (printhead issue, as described by HP here). I understood from an HP representative on the telephone that in 2017, HP provided replacement printers to customers affected by this issue, even when the printer was out of warranty due to the nature of the fault. However, from speaking with the agent I also understood that HP are no longer offering this  resolution to the fault in 2018. Can HP please confirm whether this is the case and if it is, whether they would kindly honour the resolution that they appied back in 2017 for the same fault? Thank you.
