HP Officejet Peo 8500A Plus

Printer was printing perfecting in my Dad's apartment.  I moved it to my home, bought new HP ink cartridges, installed drivers and followed all instructions for set up.  The printer is communicating with my computer and goes through the sounds of printing.  But nothing prints on the paper.  When attempting to print out test diagnostic page, the only thing that prints is a hint of a yellow block.

 

HP no longer supports this printer.  I really need/want to use this printer.

 

Can someone help please??

This is a print quality issue and its highly possible that hardware is faulty already.

if the hardware is faulty, how do i go about fixing that?
