Officejet PRo 8610
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hello,

I have a question about my 8610 and printer trays.

I have 2 trays for the printer one built in and one add-on.

How do I quickly change trays when I print?

I want one try for low grade paper weight and the other tray for higher grade.

SO when I go to print a document how do I quickly choose the correct paper tray?

The 2nd tray is enabled as I found that setting.

I am also running Windows 10 Pro 64bit retail not OEM.

Thanks in advance

Grenpara

@Grenpara, Welcome to HP Support Community!

Select the tray you loaded the paper into if your printer has more than one tray. If available, use Automatically Select to pull from the main tray. If the main tray is empty, the paper is pulled from another tray with paper.

Location- Source, Source is or Paper source menu on the Paper/Quality or Features tab

I hope that answers your concern adequately. Let me know!
