I have a new HP Officejet Pro 8630. Going through the setup process, it's stalled at Load Paper. I have loaded paper in the top and bottom trays. I've checked that both trays and the cartridges are seated well. Clicking Next results in a Printer Calibration cycle--then returns to Load Paper. HELP! Thanks.

Hey @Zaldar,
Welcome to the HP Support Forums!
I understand that your Officejet Pro 8630 e-All-In-One Printer is not detecting paper while initializing. I can help you with that.
To start, make sure the printer is plugged directly into a wall outlet and not a surge protector. Once done this document outlines how to troubleshoot pick issues with your printer. If at this point you are still unable to initialize the printer, the printer needs to be replaced. You can contact HP Support by clicking on this link and filling out the form at the bottom to discuss options.
Please let me know if you are able to reach some resolution. If you are, please click on Accept Solution. If you appreciate my help, please click on the thumbs up icon. Both icons are below this post.

I have the printer working, (thank you!) but I can no longer print on card stock.
I was hoping to load the alternate Tray 2 with plain paper, and the main tray with card stock, and choose which to use.
When I try to print from the main tray loaded with card stock, the printer doesn't recognize that there is any paper.
I also tried placing a sheet of card stock atop the plain paper in the alternate tray, as had worked with my prior HP printer.
Same problem.
The card stock is 110lb.
Suggestions?
