Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

My officejet 8600 plus finally died and I need to get a replacement. I came to the conclusion that the officejet 8710 model is the newer version of the 8600 but I am having trouble finding it in stock. Is it discontinued? If so, or if it is close to being discontinued, what other model is the closest replacement for my 8600?

The Officejet Pro 8700 series is being replaced with the Officejet Pro 9000 series.  You might take a look at the Officejet Pro 9015:  https://store.hp.com/us/en/pdp/hp-officejet-pro-9015-all-in-one-printer
