Having trouble with two of my HP Printers - printer one:
My HP Officejet Pro L7580 will print every document in standard size equal to the original document, but the printer reduces the original size by about 15-20% or so when copying it. I'm not changing anything in the reduce/enlarge section. It also takes a very long time to copy - even when selecting fast in quality section. In fact, it takes the same time whether fast or best is chosen.

Hello Dan20161,
Thanks for posting your concern on our HP Forums. It’s great place to find answers.
I saw your concern with your printer, where you are unable to make a copy correctly, it is getting reduced by 15-20% and you are not happy with the time it is taking to make a copy. I would like to help you with this.
Please try the steps below:
- Unplug the power cord from the HP All-in-One.
- Wait for 20 seconds.
- Press and hold # and 6 while plugging in the power cord to the HP All-in-One.
- Release the buttons after the HP All-in-One starts up.
- The HP All-in-One will now be reset to factory defaults.
Resetting the printer should help you fix the issues with copying and improving the speed of copy.
Refer to the page number 50 in the manual. It gives you instructions on how to make a copy.
You could also check if there are any firmware updates available for the printer on our website - www.hp.com/drivers
I hope these steps help, let me know what happens after you try those steps.
