HP PSC 1317

Hi,

I've just purchased this printer second hand, just need it for the general returns label printing etc, nothing major.

But, I can't get it to physically turn on. The plug with an external power box looks fine, and when it's all plugged in and I turn the socket on, the ON LED comes on full, the size and paper type leds run through one after the other, including the start copy 'colour' light, then the ON led flashes and everything goes off.

I can't then get it to turn on, by pressing the on button, or by pressing and holding it.

Any ideas? Or is it totally bust?

TIA

Don't worry as I'll be glad to help,

If you have already performed the steps from the document Blinking Lights: https://support.hp.com/in-en/document/c04100778  and the issue persists, it could be a hardware failure.

Please reach out to the HP Support in your region regarding the service options for your printer. HP Support can be reached by clicking on the following link:  www.hp.com/contacthp/

Hope this helps!
