Hi
I have a trusty old PSC 1610 all-in-one which has developed a fault yesterday. It paper jammed with a few pages, which I managed to pull out to clear, but since then it paper jams all the time and won't print at all.
It picks up one paper, form feeds to the right place to start printing, then displays paper jam on the display, the yellow exclamation mark flashes, and says clear jam, press ok to continue. I press ok, it ejects the paper, form feed another page to the right place again to start printing, then displays the error again.
I have had the top off, checked the rollers and gears, done a reset (power off, disconnect cable, disconnect power supply, wait, reconnect, etc.) no difference.
I have too many spare cartridges to throw the thing away, so can anyone suggest a fix as its presumably a common problem.

@Peter-H-84, Welcome to the HP Support Community!
I understand the printer jams the paper while trying to print. I appreciate your efforts in trying to resolve this issue by performing the necessary troubleshooting steps.
Make sure you have tried the steps mentioned in this document - Paper Jam Error
Check if the print carriage is moving freely. Refer to 'Carriage Jam' or 'E3' Error Displays
Now, try making a standalone copy and check if that works. By this, we can conclude if this is a hardware or a driver issue. If the printer makes a copy, the hardware is fine.
If you are not able to make a copy, I'm afraid this is a hardware issue. If the printer is out of warranty, I suggest you upgrade the printer. You may visit Hp Store to check the available printers.
