HP ENVY Photo 7858 All-in-One Printer
Microsoft Windows 11

I have seen many posts about this. I also have the infamous HP ENVY Photo 7858 stuck on the HP Loading Screen. (White screen, blue HP Logo in middle, Full Blue Progress bar below that, and 7 circles below that with only 1 filled in.)
I have tried everything that I have seen on the forms, but most of them end with "I need to send you a private message to further assist you" so I am at a loss till I guess another employee messages me. Sucks that they don't have the solution out there for us to find and fix.

Hi @Kahnner

Welcome to the HP Support Community! We're here to help you get back up and running.

My sincere apologies for this issue with the HP ENVY Photo 7858 getting stuck on the loading screen.

Here’s what’s known and what you can try:

What’s Going On

  • The printer is likely stuck in a boot loop due to firmware corruption, failed update, or internal memory fault.
  • The full progress bar with only one filled circle suggests the printer is failing during initialization of subsystems, possibly the scanner or network module.

Steps You Can Try Power Drain Reset

This sometimes clears stuck boot states:

  • Unplug the printer from power
  • Hold the Power button for 30 seconds
  • Wait 5 minutes, then plug it back in and power on

If this does not work.

This issue often requires hardware-level service or replacement.
