HP Photosmart 5515 e-All-in-One Series
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hi,

my HP Photosmart 5515 is not printing black.

The problem occured when I replaced my empty black cartridge and the printer does not print with the new one. No smear, it is not printing black at all.
If i do a copy in black my printer emits a blank white paper.

I tried to clean the printheads, manually clean the printheads with a folding paper, insert an other cartridge, do a hard reset, even followed the enhanced solution mentioned in this thread.

I would like to keep the printer and don't want to throw it away, but need it to print black.

Hello,

Please try the below steps for 3 times.

On the printer control panel,
1> touch Settings, then
2> touch Tools, then
3> touch Clean Printhead

If issue still persists, i guess its an issue with the Printhead which is a fixed part in this printer.

Its time to get a new printer.

Hi Jabzi,

thanks, worked for me.
I think the manually clean up with a folding paper + clean printhead did the trick for me.
