This will sound similar to one you had in December but the problem does not appear to be my Mac.

 

My printer sounds like it is printing but the pages come out blank.  When I run a print test or a quality assessment, the printer works and the pages print in full color so the ink isn't out and the printhead still works. When I try to do a copy and print the page comes out blank and whenever we try to print from our devices, the pages keep coming out blank.  Is there a way to fix this?

 

This did happen when I changed the printer email so I must have screwed up some setting. I have gone back to factory settings and that does not work. Out of things to try.

Had a paper jam and had to remove back (duplexer?) to remove it. Put it back on. After that prints blank pages when using black. New black cartridge, cleaned cartridges, checked to see no obstruction, aligned cartridges. All test pages are fine and use black ink. But when I copy or print with black paper moves through, sounds as if it is printing but pages are blank.

Thanks for your response. The printer was working fine about 5 days ago. I reloaded the printer drives but apart from that I have not updated software. I have tried all of the troubleshooting fixes from the website. It is very apparent that the cartridges don't need cleaning, replacing or aligning since all test prints are perfect except that when I printed Print Quality Diagnostic the area in the "black" box is blank. However, the rest of the page printed in black ink is perfect.

Clarification: I reinstalled the drivers AFTER the problem in hopes that it would resolve it.

i had the same problem with printing blank pages with the HP photosmart 7525.  I have an older Mac running 10.11 El Capitan (the old Mac can't update any higher).  I had to uninstall the printer driver and using the Safari browser re-downloaded the driver, then re-installed it.
