Product: HP Photosmart C4180
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 7 (64-bit)

Cartridge alignment failed 3--4 times. Printed blank alignment page. Used the built-in utility to clean the cartridges and also cleaned them with isopropyl alcohol. Alignment still failing, printer still prints blank pages.

Any solution short of a new printer?

If the printer prints blank pages you need to replace ink cartridges, the cost of 2 new cartridges will probably be close to the cost of a new printer.
