The printer stop printing. It slides paper in half way and stops. Then nothing happens. No any single line was printed. It stays stocked half way forever. The queue show the job is printing. I have to cancels job to get the paper out of printer. The same thing happens when tried to copy a document. During the printing job when open front door, the cartridges don't move to the center, stay on the far right side. I did the following Hard reset:

  • With the printer turned on, disconnected the power cord from the rear of the printer and also unplugged the power cord from the wall outlet.
  • Removed USB cable.
  • Waited for 2-3 minutes, pressed and held the power button on the printer for about 30 seconds to remove any additional charge.
  • Plugged back the power cable straight to a wall outlet without any surge protector or an extension cord and then plugged back the power cord to the printer.
  • Turned on the printer and waited until warm-up period finished and the printer is idle.

After that I tried to print or copy a document again - the same issue. Any help is appreciated. Thank you.
