IE9 is reporting that this add-on (HP Print Enhancer) is slowing down my browsing.  What does this add-on accomplish, and under what circumstance is it best to disable it?

Hi - I believe it is part of the HP Smart Print app that allows you to print exactly what you're seeing on the screen, in the same format.  Here is a doc that talks about downloading the latest version to be compatable with IE9.  If it appears to be slowing down your browsing, you might go ahead and uninstall it (I believe you can do that through Control Panel/Programs).  You can always re-install it if uninstalling doesn't make a difference.  Bottom line is it should not affect your ability to print from the web.

Hope that helps.

I am having a problem using plain or bonded paper. I cannot print Black and the color features are bluerd. When I use photo paper it works fine. I think it has something to do with the enhancer. whatever that is. the printer I have is an HP designjet Z3200 photo. Large formatt.
