Printer was working well on wifi but has stopped.

Stuck in offline mode

HP Print and Scan Doctor 5.0.14 does not get past Device Manager step after restrart

Did get through Recommended Updates step

Used to be able to print from 3 different computers

Also have 3 devices available - one is "DO NOT DELETE - Needed for HP OfficeJet xxxx" which I did not create

Hi @pcondonjr,

 

Welcome to the HP Support Community. 

 

I understand that HP Print and Scan Doctor not working. I'd like to help!

 

Follow these steps below.

 

Stop print service, clear the print folder, and Start print service

 

Control Panel > icon view > Administrative Tools > Services

Scroll down, find, Right-Click, and Stop Print Spooler Service

Open File Explorer (formally Windows Explorer)

Navigate to the folder and Delete the files from folder C:\Windows\System32\spool\PRINTERS

Start Print Spooler Service

 

Next...

Troubleshooting document:

Printer is Offline (Windows)

The first section does suggest using the Doctor.

Since that is not resolving the problem (that is, every day the printer is "offline"), try the next solution(s).

For example,  Start at Step 2 and continue.

Thanks for suggestions.  None of this hepled.  Even have it connected to network with cat5 cable and still not printing
