HP Printer 8500A paper jam error when there is none.

HP Recommended
HP 8500A Office Jet Printer

I have an HP OfficeJet 8500A printer that keeps trying to align the print heads.  After printing some pages it throws a paper jam error.  I have searched this printer all over and there are no paper jams.  Yet it restarts with trying to align the printheads and throws a paper jam.  I have unplugged it from all sources and rechecked everything. Nothing seems to work. I have not cleaned the rollers yet.  I am out of air so was going to go get some to see if this helps,

Check if you have a broken gear that is very common on 8500 series

I looked and nothing seems to be broken. It is very dusty inside would that cause this error?

I did but nothing seems to be broken. Will dust cause this error?

It depends, the dust can affect an optical sensor to wrongly read position making a false paper jam.
