Hi @Services2,

Welcome to the HP Support Community!

Thanks for reaching out about your query regarding your printer!

We're thrilled to have the opportunity to assist you and provide a solution.

Try theses teps:

Reset the Printer:

  • Turn off the printer and unplug it from the power source. Wait for about a minute before plugging it back in and turning it on. This can sometimes resolve scanner issues.

Check Connections:

  • Ensure all cables are securely connected and there are no visible damages.

Software and Driver Update:

  • Check for any software or driver updates for your printer model on the HP Drivers page.
  • Update the HP Smart app to the latest version if using it to initiate scans.

Reinitialize Scanner:

  • If accessible, try to reinitialize the scanner mechanism by opening the scanner lid and cleaning the glass and the area around the scanner head.

I hope this helps.

I'm glad I could help! 😊 If this resolved your issue, please mark it as "Accepted Solution" and click "Yes" on "Was this reply helpful?" Your feedback not only keeps us going but also helps others find the solution faster! 👍
