On my HP Smart Tank 670 duplex printing on A5 paper is not possible, but on A4 paper works fine. What is the reason because according to the technical specification should work on all paper formats ?

OK - I don't read Polish but your point is made.
I cannot do anything about conflicting documents.
I will pass those comments to our Moderator team.
Look to your driver behavior --
If the application / software won't print duplex on A5,
Consider printing one side, flipping paper - reload, print the other side.
Yes, I know -- a manual method is a lousy substitution for having it work as you expect.
If you have (for example) ten copies of this thing to print,
Consider editing the document
Open a blank document
Page Size to be A4 -
Copy the original document (split for printing on A5) to the A4 document.
At the point where the "second" page of the document should be on the second side,
Add / Insert a Page Break to force the second part of the content to the second page.
Ideally, the first half of the document is on Page 1, the second half is on the top of Page 2.
Save the document > Print as duplex on A4
Cut the paper(s) in half.
True - More work -- a decent paper cutter makes the job easier.
I've done this -- true - it is not a reason for you to do so.

I cannot find specifications that indicate A5 is supported for duplex.
True - I might have missed something.
?
Regardless, if the printer application or software won't print duplex on A5 plain paper, document, there is perhaps not a workaround to force the printer to do what it will not do.
Example - Specifications
Product Specifications for the HP Smart Tank 670 All-in-One (6UU48A)
Paper handling - duplexer
Media sizes, duplex (U.S. standard) | Letter; Executive; Not supported for borderless photo |

Thanks. The problem is that the technical specifications in english and polish language are different:

Hi @Jol23 ,
To clarify, you refer in your comment to the generally supported media information of the printer, which does support A5 size, however the duplex supported media information is different, it does mot indocate any A5 support, as any such is not supported for automatic duplex.
As you can see within the dedicated section within the same specifications, A5 is not supported or listed as a such for the printer:
Standardowe formaty nośników (dwustronne)
A4; B5; Brak obsługi dla zdjęć bez marginesów
Hope that clarifies,
Shlomi
