HP OfficeJet Pro 8025e All-in-One Printer

I simply cannot get my HP Smart app to connect to the network/printer. The printer is on the network, and the computer is connected to the same network. Both are on the same network. I can print to the printer via the network from multiple devices just fine. Yet, I cannot get the HP Smart app to see the printer. I have reset the printer, reinstalled it on the network, reloaded the HP app, tried using the IP address connection, everything suggested. Nothing works. Even more puzzling, this is a new problem. It used to work just fine. BTW, the HP Scan app connects and works just fine.
