HP Officejet Pro 8720
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

HP Officejet Pro 8720 is connected to a Linksys VELOP router, which is connected by wire to a Verizon router to the Internet.  A PC is already connected by wire to the Verizon router, and can print on the printer.  I set up a second PC in a different room wired to a second Linksys router.  It can connect to the Internet.  The second PC does not have Wi Fi, so must be hard wired.  HP  Smart software is unable to find the printer using the Ethernet wired option.  I cannot use wireless.  What to do?

If you are in fact using routers for everything then it is possible that your equipment is getting different IP addresses if you have the DHCP service running on more than one router. If the IP address of the printer is on a different subnet than your PC you will need to create a routing rule for the other computer to find the PC.
