A friend reloaded Windows on my PC (don't ask!) and I have now lost the HP Solutions Centre.  Can't seem to find somewhere to download it again.  Any advice?

@TriciaAb

Welcome to HP Forums,

This is a great place to get support, find answers and tips,

Thank you for posting your query, I'll be more than glad to help you out 🙂

As I understand you need information on downloading the HP Solution Center,

Don't worry as I'll be glad to help, however, to provide an accurate resolution, I need a few more details:

Did you attempt to download it from the HP website for software and driver?

While you respond to that, here's what you need to know:

There is no software download link for Solution Center from HP because it is part of your printer’s full feature software solution. Install HP Solution Center with the Windows full feature software from HP’s website.

   NOTE:

HP Solution Center is not available for Mac computers. The Mac print driver installs HP Utility, which has similar tools and features.

  1. Turn on the printer.

  2. If your printer is connected to the computer with a USB cable, disconnect the cable from the printer.

  3. Go to HP Customer Support - Software and Driver Downloads.

  4. If prompted, select a method to identify your printer model, and then follow the on-screen instructions to go to the download page.

  5. Click Download next to the full feature driver.

  6. Use the HP Download and Install Assistant for a guided driver download and installation, or select Download only to manually open or run the driver file through your Internet browser’s download tools.

  7. During the installation, select the Typical or Recommended type of installation when prompted by the software installer. If you choose a Minimum installation, read the description of each software component carefully to avoid unintended loss of printer functionality.

However, if the above doesn't work or the HP Solution center is no longer available, here's the alternate application:

HP Printer Assistant replaced HP Solution Center for printers in 2011 and later. HP Printer Assistant installs with the full feature print driver and provides similar functionality to HP Solution Center.
