I have been getting a message to my Printer in the HP Support Assistant (HP Envy 5530 All-In-One Printer)
and I keep getting the yellow triangle telling me there is a message. I open the HP Support Assistant and delete the message but the yellow triangle never goes away where it has My Devices at the top of the HP Support Assistant window.
I have uninstalled and reinstalled the HP Support Assistant twice and get the same thing both times.
This is the message that will not stay deleted:
HP ENVY 5530 e-All-in-One and Deskjet Ink Advantage 4510 e-All-in-One Printer Series - An 'Out of Paper' Message Displays on the Control Panel and the Printer Does Not Pick Up Paper
Thank you
Jeannie

I just read another post and it recommended to turn off printer then unplug the printer and let it set for 10 minutes.
I did this then turned the printer on, then opened Support Assistant and the messages were gone. I have been working on this for a while and all it took was unpluging the printer for 10 minutes.

I have 3 messages for my printer. I have read them. The problem is fixed. I try to delete them and they come back. I have set to notify in a month and they do not go away. They will not recognize any command. They keep the orange triangle at the bottom of the page and I won't know when a new message or update comes in. Nothing will delete these three messages.
