Hi @Nmor,

Welcome to HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.

If your HP Tango X printer is not recognizing that new paper has been loaded and keeps showing a low paper error, there are a few steps you can take to troubleshoot the issue.

  • Ensure Proper Loading: Make sure that the paper is loaded correctly in the input tray. Sometimes, improper loading can cause the printer not to recognize the paper.
  • Use Supported Paper: Ensure that you are using the correct type and size of paper that is supported by your HP Tango X printer. Using unsupported paper can cause issues with paper detection.
  • Reset the Printer: Try resetting the printer by turning it off, unplugging it from the power source, waiting for a few minutes, and then plugging it back in and turning it on again. This can sometimes resolve minor technical glitches.
  • Update Printer Firmware: Check if there are any firmware updates available for your printer. Updating the firmware can often resolve compatibility issues and improve the printer's performance.
  • Clean Paper Feed Rollers: Dust and debris on the paper feed rollers can sometimes interfere with paper detection. Clean the paper feed rollers using a lint-free cloth lightly moistened with water or isopropyl alcohol.
  • Check for Obstructions: Inspect the printer for any paper jams or other obstructions that may be preventing the paper from being detected properly.

By following these steps, you should be able to troubleshoot the issue with your HP Tango X printer not recognizing new paper properly.

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.
