Hi @KaizokuKoi,

Welcome to the HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query. I will be glad to help you.

If your HP Smart Tank 7005 All-in-One printer was working and now suddenly is not, here are the urgent steps you can take to troubleshoot and get back online, especially important since you're dealing with live animal shipments.

1. Power Cycle the Printer

  • Turn off the printer.
  • Unplug it from the power outlet for 30 seconds.
  • Plug it back in and turn it on.

This can clear many sudden issues.

2. Check the Control Panel for Errors

  • Look at the screen for any error icons (e.g., ink, paper jam, Wi-Fi, or exclamation mark).
  • Note anything unusual or blinking.

Let me know what you see if you're unsure.

3. Check Wi-Fi / Connection

  • Make sure the Wi-Fi light is solid blue (means connected).
    • If blinking: the printer is not connected to Wi-Fi.
    • Go to the printer control panel > Wireless or Network Settings > Restore Network Settings.
    • Then reconnect using the HP Smart app on your phone or computer.

4. Use USB as a Temporary Bypass

If Wi-Fi is down and you're in a rush:

  • Connect the printer to your PC with a USB cable.
  • It should install automatically (or via the HP Smart app).
  • Print directly that way until you can fix the Wi-Fi.

5. Use the HP Smart App

  • Open the HP Smart app on your phone or computer.
  • Remove and re-add the printer:
    • Click the "+" to re-add the printer.
    • Make sure your device is on the same Wi-Fi as the printer.
  • Try printing a test document through the app.

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.
