changed the innk, cleaned the cartiridge. brand new printer not even used it yet. black ink light wont stop flashing

Try and reset the ink.Switch printer off and hold the power and red X buttons down.While holding down the buttons switch machine on by the power from the wall outlet.Keep the buttons down until the machine starts it start up routine and then release the red x button and then the power button.The machine should print a calibration sheet.Hope this will solve your problem.

* Enter Product number or select to auto detect

* Scroll down to "Still need help? Complete the form to select your contact options"

* Scroll down and click on HP contact options - click on Get a Case & phone number.

 

They will be happy to assist you immediately. 

If the unit is under warranty repair services under the manufacturer's warranty will be free of charge.
