Hi, I’ve recently upgraded my laptop to windows 10 and since the upgrade I’ve not been able to print in colour from my laptop or my phone. The printer will scan in colour and copy in colour but only prints in monochrome. Does anyone have any ideas how to fix it? Thanks in advance!

Can you see all colors printed as in the shown sample, or any specific color may missing from the report too?

Yes I can see the colours when printing the printer status report.

Try following below version of the HP Print and Scan Doctor Utility by selecting your printer:

http://ftp.hp.com/pub/printers/hppsdr/patches/HPPSdr.exe

 

Be sure to restart your PC and allow the utility to complete the process, then check for any difference.

 

Try printing and check for any change, if the same remains try printing using the newly added print queue copy and check.

Many, many thanks for your help, this has now resolved my laptop printing issues and I can print in colour again! 🙂

 

I still can not print in colour from my iPhone, do you know how I can resolve this please?

You're much welcome, great to see the problem with the PC is resolved.

 

From your iPhone, do you use AirPrint or HP Smart?

 

Please make sure the latest firmware is installed for the printer and check if that help:

https://ftp.hp.com/pub/softlib/software13/printers/DJ2600_2021B/DJ2600_2021B.exe

 

Also, check if you may see any difference when using AirPrint or the HP Smart app instead.
