Imac
macOS 10.15 Catalina

I updated to Mac Catalina, and since my printer has stopped printing.

Steps I have taken...

1. Updated OS (it is current)

2. Uninstalled the printer and reinstalled with updated drivers

3. Preferences removed the printer, reset the printers and added the printer back.

4. Updated Adobe as it is most persistent with pdf

5. searched the forums

6. Tried the printer on my other computer, printed with no issue

Errors I get: Popups keep showing up when i go to print as "malware", especially the two below.

@Paul1083, Welcome to the HP Support Community!

Kindly perform the steps mentioned in this document to resolve this issue - A '[software component] will damage your computer' message displays when printing or while installin...

There is no printer driver available on the Hp Support site for this model printer to work on macOS 10.15. It is also not AirPrint compatible.

However, Gutenprint (formerly called Gimp-Print) provides open-source basic print drivers for many printers that would otherwise not be supported in Mac OS X. To see if your printer is supported, go to Gutenprint drivers for more information.

NOTE: Gutenprint drivers are not supported by HP or Apple.

Hope this helps! Keep me posted.
