I hooked up my printer to my new computer. It works fine but I don't have a decktop icon for scanning cartrige alianment etc. How can I retreve the HP desktop icon? Thanks.

Hi, Have you installed the Full feature S/W or the basic drivers? If its the basic drivers then it will just act for printing and basic scanning, but if you have installed the complete S/W then on the desktop you will HPPA (HP printer assistant) the icon will be of a printer and will have your printer name HP Deskjet 2652 printer series. Just click on this icon and the S/W will come up. or go to devices and printers and on the printer Icon do a right click. and then open the printers window will open up with all the options you can rt click on any option and create a short cut on the desktop. Hope this helps.
