I have just purchased an HP 4203dw printer. However, when I try to access the support service I get a message saying that the serial number is invalid. This number is printed on the back of the front panel and I have checked it using HP Smart. How do I solve this?

Please help us with your HP unit serial number or the product number on a private message for further assistance.

I already had the 10-digit serial number. It was so complicated to get support from HP that I decided to give up and return the printer to the seller.
