Hi @Lyewood
Welcome to the HP Support Community.
To better assist you -
1) Which app are you printing from?
2) Are you experiencing this issue while making a black and white copy as well?
3) Are you using a genuine HP ink?
Please check for ink levels - On the printer control panel, swipe down to open the Dashboard, and then touch the Ink icon.
- If any of the ink cartridges are low on ink, replace them.
- If none of the ink cartridges are low on ink, print a Print Quality Diagnostic page
To print a Print Quality Diagnostic page -
1) On the control panel, swipe down to open the Dashboard, and then touch the Setup icon.
2) Swipe up on the display, touch Reports, and then touch Print Quality Report.
Reply with a picture of the Print Quality Report.
You may also try step# 9 to 13 from this document.
Hope this helps! Keep me posted.

Thanks Asmita, have already solved the problem from solution by Senan6806. very similar to your very detailed instructions. In addition to cartridge cleaning and manual cleaning around the ink nozzles, I did a power on/off reset by unplugging the power cord with the cartridges removed. All now working. Thanks again, Lyewood.
