I recently cancelled my Instant Ink Contract because HP hiked the price by 50% for my plan, I have no issue with this, business is business and they obviously no longer wanted mine which is why they jumped the price.
My issue is that when I joined the scheme I had ink in my machine which they never paid me for, I bought the cartridges but they were still charging me for it, now I have left the scheme I had ink my system but to stop me using it they locked out my printer so I have had to go and buy two new Cartridges.
This is very underhand HP, I thought we had a good relationship, just because you can electronically lock out my printer does not mean it is good business to do so. The scheme worked well for me, it cost me, but I was happy, I am now an unhappy customer who will not buy HP again, all for sake of a couple of quids worth of ink left in my machine.
You are a big company, I am a little customer, but I still have an internet voice and will not go quietly.
Such a shame you soured our relationship, you could have let the machine use the end of the ink, now as we are a Green Planet I have to throw it all away, do you not have scruples.
