I have a problem with my printer where the indicator light for adding paper keeps flashing and it says E3
I've made sure nothing is stuck and this is confusing me quite a bit
I want to ask if when the printer experiences E3 problems and is taken to a service center, will it be covered by the warranty, or if not, how much will I have to prepare?

Hi @Lin_19,
Welcome to HP Support Community.
Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.
The E3 error on an HP Ink Tank 315 typically indicates a paper jam or an issue with the paper feed, even if no visible obstruction is found. Here are some troubleshooting steps you can try.
- Check for any paper stuck inside: Double-check all paper paths, including the rear access panel, if applicable, to ensure there is no small piece of paper blocking the feed mechanism.
- Remove and Reload Paper: Ensure the paper is loaded properly in the input tray, and make sure there is no overloading or misalignment.
- Clean the Rollers: Dust or debris on the rollers can prevent the printer from feeding paper correctly. Use a lint-free cloth and gently clean the paper rollers.
- Restart the Printer: Sometimes, simply restarting the printer can resolve the error if it's due to a temporary glitch.
I hope this helps.
Take care and have a good day.
