HP laser jet pro M478f-9F

I have an HP laser jet pro M478f-9F. It worked fine till i went to print. It gives me a blue screen with a power symbol and a code B8D156AE.  I've tried looking it up and no error code can be found. I tried a hard reset. When I can get it back on line, I checked all the settings and I checked for updates. Everything is fine. So what is the error code referring to?

Check the current firmware version and update the printers firmware.

You cannot always trust the automatic check built in to report the correct firmware and is a good idea to go to support.hp.com and check the current firmware there. As HP does not publish all the meanings of all error codes it is impossible to say without opening a case with tech support what the error means. It could be as simple as a temporary hiccup caused by a power fluctuation or could be an indication that the formatter is getting ready to fail
