Product: HP Color LaserJet Pro MFP M283fdw
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)
Hello, I have purchased dozens of HP m283fdw printers only to find out several have an inherited problem for this model. The display goes blank after some time and there is no fix available once out of warranty. Powering off the printer holding the power button for 30 seconds etc.. rarely resolve the problem. From what I have read this is a defect I believe with the control module board. Sadly it seems HP will not take ownership of the design flaw and customers are left with a nice bill to fix this. Hopefully, HP will read my comment and provide a link with clear directions on where to purchase the part to fix this.
Thank you in advance.
