I have been asked to order HP no. 57 and no. 58 and haven't been given any other information from my boss.
I have ordered the no. 57 no problem but the 58 is now discontinued and I am wondering if anyone knows if there has been a replacement made for this, or what other ink could replace it?
I can't give the printer model as I don't have access to it.
thanks,
N

Hi,
Thanks for using the HP Forums.
The no 58 ink cartridge is a photo cartridge. You can use the no 56 (Black cartridge) to go with the no 57 (Tri color cartridge)

Hi there,
Thank you for your message.
I pointed out to my boss that this was a photo cartridge and they advised that this was the type of cartridge they wanted, not a normal black cartridge.
Does such a thing now not exist? I know that you could originally put the 58 in the black cartridge port part.
I apologise, this is all a bit over my head.
I really appreciate your help.
thanks,
N
