Like I have seen in a lot of other post, I also have an issue with my printer is stuck/frozzen when it is powered up. I have not seen any solutions that  works for me. Things like unplug powercable and wait for 5 min ect. I have tried with no succes. I even found my way to power on in service mode, and tried full reset, factory reset ect. Still same thing STUCK at HP logo with one dot blue. No network cable connected or something so I have no clue what to do next.

Any workable solution will be higly appricated.

Hi @Johsure ,

Welcome to The HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.

I understand you've already tried several troubleshooting steps without success. Since you've attempted a full reset and factory reset with no change in the printer's behavior, it's possible that there could be a hardware issue causing the problem.

However, before concluding that, here are a few additional steps you could try:

Let's perform a power drain:

  • With the printer turned on, disconnect the power cord from the rear of the printer and also unplug the power cord from the wall outlet.
  • Remove USB cable, if present.
  • Wait for 2-3 minutes, press and hold the power button on your printer for about 30 seconds to remove any additional charge.
  • Now plug back the power cable straight to a wall outlet without any surge protector or an extension cord (This is important) and then plug back the power cord to the printer.
  • Turn on the printer and wait till warm-up period finishes and the printer is idle

  • Check for firmware updates: Sometimes, firmware updates can resolve issues like this. Visit the HP website and see if there are any firmware updates available for your OfficeJet Pro 7730. If there are, follow the instructions to download and install the update.  Update the firmware on an HP printer
  • Inspect for physical damage: Carefully inspect the printer for any signs of physical damage, such as loose cables, broken parts, or anything out of the ordinary. If you notice anything unusual, it could indicate a hardware issue that needs professional attention.

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.

Hi @Gaya1239

Thanks for your effort to assist.

I have followed your steps for a power drain.

I even relocated the printer to another room (wall outlet), and still same result HP logo 1 dot and nothing more 😞

Next relocation might be the waste disposal 🙂 unless you have some bright ideas what to do next?

Obvious that would not be optimal, it is only approx. 3 years old, and was bought with higher expectations.

Regarding firmware updates, given the fact that it stalls in boot process, I guess I do not have any way to update firmware nor something, because I cannot communicate with printer?
