I am. Trying to help a customer print from their phones. But the printer has a message saying network capabilities are disabled.

I tested it with USB connection and it works. Ethernet will not work without an IP addess.

I updated firmware, tried resetting factory settings, I tried connecting through smart connect but kept hitting a wall.

He told me the printer use to work fine, but at some point the printer crashed. Unsure of symptoms.

Not being able to get into printer network set up makes it very difficult to complete my job.

I have seen this same issue in my searches, but the fix is a private email from HP.

This printer only has a on/off button and LED display only.

Please send me the fix for this problem, unless you think printer is now a paperweight.

Thank you
